Bulldog Women's Golf Moves Up To Third Overall In Final Round At NC4K College Classic
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's golf team closed out action the NC4K Classic with a third-place overall team finish on Tuesday (April 9) at the Pinnacle Golf Club in Ohio.
The Bulldogs shot a 306 team score in Tuesday's final round to finish at 615 or +39 for the 36 holes of competition, coming in third overall in the 14-team field. Indianapolis took first place overall (+6) with Ashland second (+27) in front of FSU, which moved up on the leaderboard in the final round.
FSU's Kamryn Shannon climbed to seventh overall on the individual leaderboard with a two-round 150 total. She shot a 79 in round one before finishing with a 71 in the second round.
Meanwhile, Lizzie Anderson placed eighth for the Bulldogs at 151 overall, carding a 78 in round two after a 73 in the opening round.
Ferris State's Dani Staskowski finished tied for ninth overall with a 152 figure, shooting a 77 in round two following a first-round 75 score.
The Bulldogs' Taylor Musselman notched a 165 total for the 36 holes, compiling a 80 in round two after an 85 in round one for a share of 38th place overall.
Additionally, Hallie Crozier took a share of 43rd overall for FSU with a first-round 82 and a second-round 84 total, which was good for a 166 score for the two rounds.
Finally, the Bulldogs' Abby Grevel placed tied for 47th with a 169 score on rounds of 88 on Monday and 81 on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs will next take part in the GLIAC Women's Golf Championships set for April 19-21 in Augusta, Mich.
