Women's Tennis Suffers Setback In League Road Action At WSU

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team dropped a 9-0 decision to host Wayne State in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) play on Saturday (Sept. 20) in Detroit.

The Warriors swept the doubles round and then captured all six singles flights in earning the win over the Bulldogs, who fell to 4-2 overall and 3-2 in league action.

Wayne State managed to win all six singles positions in straight-sets while remaining unbeaten at 6-0 overall this year.

Ferris State wraps up its weekend action by visiting Hillsdale on Sunday (Sept. 21) for a 1 p.m. (ET) league contest in Hillsdale, Mich.
