Third-Ranked Saint Leo Tops Ferris State In Women's Tennis Action

Big Rapids, Mich. - Nationally third-ranked Saint Leo topped the Ferris State University women's tennis squad in 9-0 fashion on Wednesday (March 9) at the Saint Leo (Fla.) Tennis Center.

Saint Leo swept the doubles round over FSU in grabbing the early lead in the match and then swept the singles round to beat the Bulldogs in the non-league tilt.

With the setback, Ferris State fell to 14-7 on the year. Meanwhile, Saint Leo is now 6-1 overall this campaign following the home court victory.

Ferris State wraps up its spring trip to Florida against Hillsborough CC on Thursday (March 10) in Tampa.
