Ferris State Women's Tennis Posts Most Decisive Win Of The Season To Close Out Hilton Head Trip
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's tennis team closed out its spring break trip with a shutout victory as the Bulldogs topped Salem International by a 9-0 count on Thursday (March 8) in Hilton Head, S.C.
The Bulldogs posted their first win at the Spring TennisFest by sweeping Salem to improve to 7-11 overall this season.
Ferris State won all three doubles flights with the closest score an 8-4 decision at the number three flight in the lineup.
In singles competition, FSU took all six positions in straight-sets and dominated all six spots while garnering the non-league victory.
The 9-0 victory was FSU's most decisive win of the year.
Ferris State returns home and will next square off against Lewis (Ill.) in regional action on Friday, March 23, at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center in Big Rapids. Match time is set for 2 p.m. (ET).
