Upcoming Ferris State Women's Tennis Matches To Be Rescheduled

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University's upcoming Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) women's tennis road matches slated for March 26-April 3 have been postponed.

The Bulldogs were slated to face Northwood and Saginaw Valley State this weekend (March 26-27) in GLIAC play along with Grand Valley State on April 3, but due to the league's COVID-19 protocols and subsequent contact tracing, the three matches will not be played as scheduled.

The schools are currently working together to finalize dates to reschedule the contests prior to the close of the regular-season and they will be announced at a later time.

Data privacy precludes further comment on the issue and any additional updates or adjustments to the schedule will be made and announced at a later time.

The Bulldogs, currently off to a 7-1 start this year and a perfect 2-0 GLIAC record, are currently ranked fourth in the Midwest Region along with 24th in the Oracle Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) National Rankings.
