Bulldog Tennis Sweeps Southwest Baptist In Big Regional Home Doubleheader
Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's tennis squads scored a pair of impressive home wins in regional play on Wednesday (March 27) at the FSU Racquet and Fitness Center.
The Bulldogs topped Southwest Baptist 4-3 in the women's match and came away with a 7-0 sweep in men's competition.
"What a great day at the Racquet Center," said FSU head coach Mark Doren. "This was our first dual match vs Southwest Baptist since both our teams lost to them in the first round of the NCAA tournament in 2021. So for our seniors, who were freshman then, this was sweet revenge."
Both Ferris State teams will next play host to Grand Valley State on Saturday (March 30) in a regional doubleheader in Big Rapids.
