Ferris State Track and Field Squads Start Season Friday At GVSU Bill Clinger Classic

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University men's and women's indoor track and field squads will begin the 2021 campaign as a selected number of student-athletes take part in the Bill Clinger Classic at the Kelly Family Sports Center in Allendale.

The Bulldogs will compete in the meet hosted by Grand Valley State with competition against student-athletes and teams from across the region. 

Teams slated to take part include Aquinas, Calvin, Davenport, FSU, GVSU, Hillsdale, Tiffin and Valparaiso.

The meet gets underway with the high jump at 1:45 p.m. (ET) followed by the remaining field events starting at 2 p.m. (ET). Events on the track also begin with the women's 5,000 meters at 2 p.m. and will conclude with the final event slated to start at 5:40 p.m.
