Fan Bus To Hillsdale For NCAA Volleyball

Big Rapids, Mich. - Ferris State University fans wishing to catch the nationally 11th-ranked Bulldog volleyball team in action at the 2011 NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Tournament in Hillsdale might have a special opportunity to do so.

A fan bus is being planned for this Sunday's (Nov. 20) regional tournament championship match should the Bulldogs advance to the final at Jesse Philips Arena in Hillsdale.

Sunday's title match is slated for 4 p.m. (ET) and the 49-passenger bus would depart at 12 p.m. (ET) from the west side of the FSU Sports Complex should the Bulldogs reach the championship match.

The Ferris State University Athletics Department will cover the cost of the bus, but fans will be responsible for purchasing their game ticket upon arrival.  The bus availability will be on a first-come, first-serve basis.

In order to reach Sunday's championship match, the Bulldogs would need to win two matches at the regional tournament over the next two days.  The second-seeded Bulldogs face number seven seed Saginaw Valley State on Friday (Nov. 18) at 2:30 p.m. (ET) in the regional quarterfinals and would play in the first semifinal on Saturday (Nov. 19) evening at 5 p.m. (ET) with a win over the Cardinals.
