Bulldog Volleyball To Scrimmage Division I Central Michigan This Sunday

Big Rapids, Mich. - The Ferris State University women's volleyball program will square off against NCAA Division I member Central Michigan in a spring scrimmage this Sunday (March 25) afternoon at FSU's Ewigleben Sports Arena in Big Rapids.

The Bulldogs and the Chippewas will play a scrimmage match starting at 3:30 p.m. on Sunday.  The contest will follow an early-afternoon practice involving the two teams and will last approximately two hours.

Admission is free and the match is open to the public. 

Ferris State wrapped up the 2012 campaign with a 24-8 overall record and reached the NCAA Division II Midwest Regional Semifinals for the second consecutive year. FSU also posted a 16-2 mark in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) North Division play and came within a single victory of claiming a second-straight conference championship. 

The Bulldogs have advanced to the NCAA Tournament three of the last four years to date.
